Anne Bradley Interrogates Ezra Klein and Derek Thompson’s *Abundance*
For this week’s episode of the Acton Line I spoke with Anne Bradley, vice president of academic affairs at The Fund for American Studies and professor of economics at The Institute of World Politics, about Ezra Klein and Derek Thompson’s book Abundance. Anne had reviewed Abundance for Religion & Liberty Online in early June of this year.
Anne’s review, “The Curious Task of ‘Abundance’”, so impressed me that I wanted to explore her thoughts on the book further. The interview was recorded during Acton University in June and we talked about the concept of “abundance”, the book’s intended audience, the proper role of regulation and whether or not it can facilitate rather than impede innovation and growth.
Is there a Straussian reading of Abundance? Does our best vision of an abundant future come from a yogurt commercial?
Watch and listen to find out!
