Dylan Pahman Is Starting the Conversation on Orthodox Christian Social Thought

For this week’s episode of the Acton Line I spoke with my Acton Institute colleague Dylan Pahman about his new book The Kingdom of God and the Common Good: Orthodox Christian Social Thought.

This is an amazing book that Dylan and I have had many conversations about over the years while he was writing it. It’s really five books for the price of one!

It outlines the nature and history of the social question in Christianity, provides a biblical theology of Christian social thought, surveys the history of social thought in the eastern churches, presents a concise history of economic thought, and gives an account of the current state of Orthodox social thought. Highly recommended to audiences both Orthodox and heterodox!
