Isaac Willour Is Helping Corporate America Move on from ESG

For this week’s episode of the Acton Line I spoke with Isaac Willour, an analyst at Bowyer Research, America's leading pro-fiduciary proxy consulting firm, about all things ESG, an investing principle that prioritizes environmental issues, social issues, and corporate governance.

Isaac always makes for great conversation. He’s helped me think through what moral responsibilities shareholders have in corporate governance. He also helped me untangle how large state pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, and institutional investors have embraced and even sometimes resisted ESG.

I’m still working through a lot of my own thinking on a lot of these issues and it was great to have such a knowledgeable conversation partner.
